| The
former Midland Railway roundhouse has been fully restored by the society
that now run the site. In BR days the depot was responsible for
supplying motive power for the Derbyshire coalfield trains and the
roundhouse now houses steam, diesel and electric locomotives for a
number of preservation groups and commercial operations. |
