Class 31 preserved workings for 2012

NLR Bank Holiday Specials will be running this weekend with trains hauled by Class 31 Diesel 31289 or Peckett steam locomotive 2104. Why not treat yourself to a First Class upgrade with a real Cornish cream tea served on the train?

Just been informed that D5830 will now also haul the 14.30 departure from Loughborough on the above date. This service runs as normal and stops at intermediate stations.

The latest update from the NLR is that 31289 is scheduled to be hauling all diesel services.

Update from the NLR about the Oct 28th Halloween Event - All services will be steam hauled. The planned use of 31289 for the evening service will not go ahead unless Peckett 2104 fails.
