More Running Days...

1498 CIG (on loan from EOR) is due to run in Push-Pull with 33 103 on 7/8/9 June.
It will replace the DMU in the Green timetable. http://www.swanagerailway.co.uk/11broch/greentt.pdf
Loco should be at the Wearham end. Usual fares apply.

All subject to operational requirements.

It has been decided to run the 3 CIG and 33103 in push pull mode from tomorrow (Wednesday 1st) until at least Friday. Weather it continues over the weekend has yet to be decided.

33103 and 3 CIG are next booked to run on the 25th and 26th of June. Note the 25th has the 'Hastings Diadem' Railtour, so a special timetable will be in operation.

On Saturday the 30th July and 5th August our evening 'fireworks' are trains DMU and '33' hauled as follows.....

DMU
ex Swanage: 1910, 2020, 2210, 2300 ex Norden: 1945, 2050, 2235, 2335

'33'
ex Swanage: 1835, 1945, 2230, 2335** ex Norden: 1910, 2020, 2302

** after arrival at Norden at 2358 then runs ECS to Swanage

Normal Fares available including Adult day rover at £16 giving up to 14 hrs heritage services in the Purbecks !

Evening rover ticket of £6 Adult/£ 4.50 child apply after 18.55

This Friday 5th August there are additional services to cope with the Red arrows display at 18.00. The main web site shows the additional 18.40 ex Swanage as being diesel hauled, but in the WTT no specific motive power is shown, however the Bistro does still run at 17.40 and has the usual Crompton haulage 8)

It has been confirmed that 3 CIG, 1498 (on loan from EOR) is due to run in Push-Pull with either 33 103 or 33 111 on 17th & 18th September.

While D6515/33012 is away at the NYMR, the evening Bistro on Friday 16th will also be worked by a blue Crompton.

NEWSFLASH
Looks like I spoke too soon....
33111 was out with the CIG today(Wed) and will be out this coming weekend Fri 2nd till Sun 4th inclusive in the DMU diagram in the green timetable.

Friday 25th May sees the regular return of the 'Bistro' - normaly diesel-hauled service.
D6515 is the usual motive power...but until she returns to full healh 33 111 is booked this Friday.

All motive power is subject to availability. Evenining rover fare £6(Adult) available

JAZZ FESTIVAL July 13th, 14th, 15th 2012

Starting with the 10.00 ex Norden and 10.40 ex Swanage and every 80 mins till 18.00 ex Norden, there will be class 33 haulage with 5 coaches repacing the DMU.
The 18.35 ex Swanage then runs to Corfe Castle only, then L/E to Swanage. The DMU then runs 19.05, 20.15, 22.35 and 23.15 ex Swanage and 19.50, 21.00, 22.55 and 23.40 ex Corfe Castle.

The Friday 13th Bistro will be steam hauled.

Also note the Olympic Torch will be in and around Swanage on Friday 13th!

All motive power is subject to availability.

Subject to confirmation 33111 is rosterd to do the diesel turns during the day and the Bistro on Friday evening - thats over 12 hrs of Crompton running on Friday :P
